Colour Me

Colour me
10am – 3pm Saturday March 12

Colour is what inspires the work of 5 contemporary artists in the upcoming exhibition at Changeable Art. Each artist uses bold uninhibited brushstrokes to creative vibrant expressions.

Sally was a scientist in her first career working in medical research to find a cure for childhood cancer; exploring nature in an effort to reduce harm. Now Sally is continuing to look at nature using art.  ‘ How far can form and colour be altered and still be recognized as landscape.’

Christine works mainly with lines keeping her work uncluttered but directional.

Antonio explores abstraction through varying forms and styles, subtle textures and colour to achieve a harmonised effect.

Heathers work is mainly about colour and the emotions that colour brings

Susan - works are derived from a wide range of subjects, both abstract and objective. She has a sense of experimental play, which is reflected, in her art

Influences range from Asian styles, French Fauve painters to back yard gardens. The key is the imagination and the artist’s ability to create warmth and emotion in their work.

This exhibition creates a zestful atmosphere through the lively tones.  An uplifting experience not to be missed.

Held on Saturday, March 12, 10am - 3pm along with the well-loved North Sydney Markets and live music at 220 Miller St. North Sydney, Civic Park.
Come and enjoy free live entertainment, gourmet food and a wonderful vibrant atmosphere!
