Art as Memory

Art is used to freeze moments in time so we can appreciate them forever. This may be through a realistic image or an interpretation capturing the ambience of the moment.

‘Art As Memory’ is an exhibition where 4 artists explore their creativity though painting, drawing and photographs capturing different memories.

The exhibition showcases Chinese brush painting and calligraphy exploring the spiritual through an integration of Eastern forms and  western sensibility.

Photos are inspired by flowers, warm Summer days, water, sand and landscapes capturing these single frame moments, which throw us, back to warm days in the sun.

Energetic paintings capture burlesque dancers, drawing inspiration from the genre of retro pin up art
Moody, captivating, sensual, dreamy this exhibition is not to be missed.

A FREE event held on Saturday, September 11, 10am - 3pm along with live music, free entertainment and the well loved North Sydney Markets
