Artists have the ability to capture the beauty that lies beyond our windows. ‘Outside the Window’ is an exhibition of artists who have used photography, painting and mixed media to explore landscape and city living. This exhibition includes works by clients of the Acton Foundation for Mental Health Inc. The action foundation provide suitable psychosocial and skills based programs, promotes awareness and provides information and advocates on behalf of people who suffer or have suffered from a mental health problem. These artworks come out of an art group that is open to people with issues relating to mental health. The works are vibrant and expressive.
The exhibition also includes works from architect Janaki Lele who works with domestic waste paper and newspapers, turning these items into exquisite artworks and lamps.
Outside the Window is an exploration of thought and imagination. You are invited to enter another world.

A FREE event held on Saturday, August 14, 10am - 3pm along with live music, free entertainment and the well loved North Sydney Markets
