Young and Talented YourGEN2010

North Sydney Community Centre is celebrating Youth Week by hosting YourGEN2010 on April 10 & 11 to promote, foster and strengthen local youth culture. This event will include Changeable Art on Saturday April 10 and music performances on Sunday April 11.

YourGEN2010 coincides with North Sydney Market featuring art & photography exhibitions, competition, live music, performance and workshops. Artworks have been collected from young emerging artists to be exhibited on the day. This is a great opportunity for visual arts, photography, music and performance students to present and exhibit their work publicly, gaining valuable insights and experience in their chosen fields.

There are 6 confirmed local school bands performing at the Sunday music event, including End August, Juliet, Polar Opposites, The Israelites, Sininster Pope and The Glass Concept.

The Glass Concept is an indie rock band of 5 girls from Monte College. The girls write their own songs and found their love of music at school. The girls play at markets and other events and are recording a demo at the moment.

The North Sydney Community Centre is proud to host this event and is supportive of young talent in the local area.
